It is about networks from the inside: how to build an IPv4 packet by hand with Scapy, how to manipulate it, and what is actually happening when a tool does that work for you. Written for people who want to understand the protocol, not for people looking for recipes.
It has videos inside. When I wrote it, Apple had just made it possible to embed video in ebooks, and network traffic is far easier to grasp watching it move than reading about it. I recorded them myself.
